We had a great stay with Julie and Snow. The entire place has such a warm aura, very cozy. So many nice, creative decorative touches. Julie is an awesome host who is super friendly and helpful. It was like staying with family. Very large bedroom and comfy bed. She makes superb coffee also ;). I definitely recommend a stay at Journey’s.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to journey! The whole drive up was beautiful. Julie and Snowy were so sweet and accommodating. The house and rooms are beautiful and creatively put together. The bed was cozy and both dinner and breakfast were spectacular. You can see the intention and love that went into creating the space. Ill definitely be visiting again

A real gem. Rooms and entire place is lovely, warm and inviting. Even at -20 outside our room was cozy and the bed and comforters were nice and snuggly. The hostess Julie is a wonderful and welcoming lady. We will return and consider this our goto country hideaway.

This place is awesome! Came up for a weekend of skiing at Jay with the dog along for the ride. Found a last minute room for the evening here at Journey's. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Julie, the host, was warm and inviting. The beautiful vintage house has a serene and calming vibe with really interesting art and knick knacks all about (great rocks, Julie!). The room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was the perfect fuel for a day on the mountain. And she looked after the dog during the day. Will definitely be back ... Thanks again, Julie!

Journey's Salon & Guest House must be the Northeast Kingdom's best kept secret! We were so thankful we found Julie and Snow's lovely home in North Troy for our stay and if we ever make another trip back East, we will definitely be making our reservations at Journey's! Julie and her sweet lil' dog, Snow, made us and our two dogs, Max and Molly, feel welcome and at home from the very start. The home is beautiful, comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The walls, throughout the house, are decorated with art from a variety of artists, including Julie, and it's all for sale. There's a deck off the back of the house with a fenced-in yard for the dogs to explore. The back yard area was quiet, peaceful and private, lined with flowers and greenery. It was the perfect place to relax on a beautiful summer's day. Julie prepared a breakfast for us each morning of fresh fruit, hard boiled egg, cheese and coffee which we thought was just perfect for us! She also shared her kitchen, if we wanted to prepare other meals for ourselves. The room was comfortable and more importantly, the mattress was. Julie also invited me into her salon one morning and added some coconut oil to my natural curly hair! I felt like I was staying with a very good friend or with a close family member! If you have dogs or not and you're looking for a fabulous, relaxing place to stay in the Northeast Kingdom, you have to give Journey's Salon & Guest House a try. You'll be so glad you did!
