Good value but not overly clean. Don't expect Airbnb or hotel. This is a authentic an historic Stagecoach stop with a working Library underneath it. Wednesday mornings have a civics class at 7:30 am. Unfortunately we were there on Tuesday night. Otherwise the place was fine and as we expected.
The Stagecoach Stop Hostel is the ideal location for cheap overnight lodging if you are in the Vershire area. I used it as a hub for exploratory day trips out into VT. Its a hostel, in a historic building also used as a community library and meeting place, so don't expect, private, plush accommodations. There is a shared kitchen and bath with shower. No cell coverage. So if you want to experience life in a friendly, small VT community, this is the place.
Welcoming, clean and neat. I appreciate the opportunity to stay overnight in affordable accommodations while at the same time supporting the community of Vershire. (Sadly there are not many affordable places to stay overnight in Vermont anymore). Let's change that by following the Vershare model.
