This was a great place to stay in northern VT. The Inn is super comfy and cute. The hosts are friendly and really helpful. Dog and family friendly. There are various room/suite options for different needs. Soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was sheer heaven. We'll definitely be back!

Traveling and staying overnight anywhere is 'iffy' these days. We were very hesitant about booking any room. Spent time reviewing this properties protocols for cleaning and safety and decided all looked great in writing.nnBeing possibly over cautious on the border of paranoid I brought and used a 40 watts 3ft long UV-C disinfectant/sanitizing light rig to inspect and treat the entire suite. Well.... was amazed!!!nnUV lights are very unforgiving and expose residue left from insufficient cleaning. To my amazement there was no observable dust or stains on any surface throughout the suite (and a pet friendly suite at that). This was most reassuring and we felt safe and comfortable in this suite. Care and attention to achieving sanitary condition is apparently a very high priority at this establishment. Most appreciated!nnWith all the extra hard work the hosts must have to do to be open during these times... they remain welcoming and attentive to all needs. The property as a whole reflected the attention to perfection seen in the suite.nnBreakfast... awesome!nnLook forward to another stay.

I had a great stay with Lynne and Darren at Phineas Swann. I was unfortunately only there for a quick overnight trip, but I'm planning when I can go back!nnOne particular note of excellence was the thoughtfulness of the hosts, who waited to greet us when we arrived, asked after allergies, made sure we had everything we needed, and otherwise left us to explore. The line between hospitable and overbearing can be tough to find in this industry, but Lynne and Darren are absolute pros who made me feel welcome and comfy without being smothered.nnAlso, the DVDs were alphabetized, and that just makes me love them more :)

We had a wonderful weekend, and our pooches were pampered and loved it too! Right in the middle of Montgomery, a beautiful little town with some gorgeous sights nearby is nestled this great B&B. We felt welcomed from the moment we pulled in, and there were even special welcome presents for our dogs. The breakfasts were delicious, and the rooms were comfortable. Highly recommended!

I've stayed here many times over the past ten years. Darren and Lynne are so gracious, and the b&b is a cozy and accommodating space. Bring right on the main street in Montgomery, just a few steps from restaurants and groceries, is hugely convenient.
