Magical. There is no other word I can think of at this moment than magical. My partner and I spent 2 days one nights at The Inn at Shelburne Farm for our anniversary. Every single person treated us like royalty! Noah, the mixologist, made us drinks that were so perfectly crafted that he made us feel like he was out personal bartender. Ari, the somolier and hospitality manager, was so knowledgeable and intentive, my partner felt so lucky and honored to have someone of his caliber to make her feel special. I would always go back and I would always recommend this magical place, with it's gardens and views and food and people, and I haven't even gushed about the glory that was the room! So go. Go for yourself and experience the grandeur for yourself!
Such an amazing property! We had brunch in the dining room in a heatwave with no air conditioning but still enjoyed it. Staff needs more training, however. Drinks sat at the bar waiting to be served, food was slow, etc. Staff was too busy flirting with each other. But the home and grounds are worth a visit!
We love visiting here year round. Even when the farm barn is busy it's easy to find some quiet on the trails. Views of the lake are beautiful, and the grounds are lovely.
