Bed was great! Place was just strange. Smelled only of smoke in any area outside the room. Everytime we exited the place we were greeted by several smokers. Nice view but the windows were so filthy you could barely see out of them.
This place isn't fancy, and physically shows some of the wear and tear associated with older hotels. But the rooms are sweet and comfortable, neat as a pin. And the people who work here are really awesome. Super friendly, very cheerful, extremely helpful.
We enjoyed our stay last fall as we traveled throughout New England for fall foliage. Conveniently located along main Route 7 to all major places of interest. Easily accessible, it was nice to park our car right in front of our exterior door. Breakfast was as good as any. Front desk was cheerful and helpful. The bed and room were comfortable. The rooms are modestly priced for a modest one level hotel. Recommend it.
The lady that worked at the desk in the afternoon was a delight. Quiet and comfortable room. A very nice stay
denied checkin due to not being a VT resident on July 9th. hotel cant make reasonable decision on own without modifying Governor's orders. they have direct doors to outside. why exceed restrictions and descriminate? no common sense. unwilling or unable to comply with the law either. customers are assumed and prejudiced by blinded employees
