Our granddaughter's wedding took place at the Old Lantern 10/10/2020. Lisa and her crew were very solicitous of my husband ( in a wheelchair) and me. They did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and catered to. We were very appreciative of the whole reception experience. We would recommend this venue to everyone.

Our daughter got married here and it was the most magical day ever! The only very important suggestion I have is for the owners to put in a refrigerator/freezer (full size) at the Inn. We ended up having to throw away the top of our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding cake as well as the mini hand pies I had made specifically for this event. The key lime and the maple cream mini pies needed to be refrigerated and without a refrigerator available, we had to throw all of the extra pies away (and there were a lot of them). I also brought homemade ice cream sandwiches and the owner offered to put them in her freezer (they live in an apartment attached to the Inn). But after the wedding, when everyone wanted one, it was late and the owner wasn’t available. PLEASE - for all future guests - put in a refrigerator/freezer at the Inn for everyone’s use and to avoid having to throw out totally good food. I was disappointed that they lost their wedding cake and I lost the expensive mini pies that I had made specifically for the wedding. Thank you.

Attended a great graduation event that was small with friends and family at the old lantern. They are open for business again now that Vermont is allowing events. It was nice to finally get out of the house and celebrate. They were able to make social distancing guidelines feel natural and integrated into the space. Clean and beautiful escape from the world.
