Delta Hotels by Marriott Burlington

This was first stay at a Delta Hotel. I am a Marriott group person and have stayed at many different Marriott properties across the country and in Spain and Italy. I arrived on Friday, October 9, 2020, Columbus Day weekend. Check in was easy and the desk clerk was very pleasant and informative. Because of the pandemic, New Hampshire state rules require them to see if I had been recently exposed or diagnosed with COVID and sign an affidavit. No problem. I had booked a regular guest room with two beds. Since I am Titanium Elite, I asked for an upgrade which I received. I was given a king one bedroom suite with living room and kitchenette. Of course there was tv in the living room and the bedroom. There was a table in the living room that could seat four. There was a sleep sofa and coffee table. The kitchenette had a full-size refrigerator/freezer, sink and microwave. Bathroom was clean but a little dated, out of proportion to the rest of the suite that seemed more modern and up-to-date. The room was clean and on the back side of the hotel so no street noise. Parking is free and plenty of it. Duke's Public House restaurant is attached to the hotel and there are several other restaurants within one mile of the hotel, including a pizza place that delivers, directly across the street from the hotel. The hotel is just off the highway. University of Vermont is less than 1 1/2 miles southeast on Williston, the same street the hotel is on. Waterfront Park is 2.5 miles from the hotel. Waterfront Park is on Lake Champlain where there is ferry service to Port Kent, NY. Waterfront Park is beautiful with restaurants and other facilities. Unfortunately I was only in Burlington for about 18 hours before I headed on to Portsmouth. I will have to go back one day and I will plan to stay at the Delta and to see more of Vermont. I did not even get a chance to get any Vermont maple syrup from one of the local sugar houses.

Beautiful hotel. Clean and beautiful room, comfortable bed, delicious coffee in room. Very nice pool & jacuzzi. Easy check in & check out. Convenient location with everything you need near by!

The Marriott hotel is like heaven on earth. The bed is a cloud. Everything is comfortable, clean, and the interior designs are new and beautiful. Large, brand new tv, convenient access to anything needed. Fridge included. Could not have asked for a better more romantic stay. Thank you Marriott!

Nice room and good location. Short driving distance from Church street (about 5-10 minutes.) I appreciate the safety measures for COVID, but it was a bit lengthy.

AMAZINGnthe staff is incredible especially during Covid times. Rooms are beyond clean. We stayed for four nights. Great amenities and we appreciated the little touches in the room when it came to cleanliness. Thanks for welcoming us.
