We needed a huge break from our crazy Manhattan lives and found this gem of a place. Goodness, words cannot describe the beauty and peace HFI offers. Our room was gorgeous and super cozy with a loft feel and breathtaking views. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was delicious and create. We will surely return to this beautiful bucolic paradise -- thank you, Kate for a wonderful long weekend.
Great experience! Whole property is beautiful. King room was great. Kate was super welcoming, had great recommendations for a fun day. The breakfast is top notch, even with covid adjustments. Barn cats are just the icing on the cake!!
The inn is very pretty and very well maintained. But they lack the hospitality that goes with the whole inn vibe. We have been in Vermont staying at two other inns and there just wasn't warm fuzzy feeling here at all. Would I go back , probably not. I didn't feel comfortable at all. Felt like an outsider.

This is a beautiful B&B. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The innkeeper was so sweet and friendly. Breakfast was very delicious and cooked to order. Ask your waitress to cut up some apples for you to feed the alpacas on the property. I wish we could have stayed longer.
