This quaint bed and breakfast is nestled in the hills and is a luxury to those seeking a nice quiet getaway. The history here is astounding, as are the views of nature. It has a fantastic internet speed and the food is to die for. The owners are very sweet and talkative. As a frequent traveler of the world I would recommend anyone to experience this place.
Tucked away in a quaint town on a scenic road near the winding river we admired this inn for years when we drove past it enroute to our son's and his family's house. One year we chose to book a room for a few days. Comfort doesn't describe it. This inn is more like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are wonderful and private. I highly recommend the king sized rooms. But it's the owners who make us feel welcome and present us with a smorgasbord of delicious foods for breakfast. Oatmeal embellished with coconut and peanuts topped with fresh fruit and a drizzle of Vermont Maple Syrup is my favorite. We've had bacon and eggs in a cute little cup with cream and embellished with grape tomatoes, scallions and cracked pepper. The bread pudding was to die for. Fresh bread with butter, creamcheese or jam, meat and cheese to tantalize any pallet. Juice and coffee or tea. It's impossible to walk away hungry.
Beautiful place. We had a great weekend. The breakfast was fantastic. And the owners were a pleasure.
Green River Inn, what can I say... it’s amazing, beautiful, cosy and idyllic surroundings. It is a well kept Inn the hosts are perfectionist in every way. The breakfasts are filling with homemade produce. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.nnMichael and Tara Smith
