The rooms are clean and comfortable.. The newly renovated bathrooms are especially nice! And the mountain views are some of the nicest in Manchester. Comfortable chairs are provided outside each room, giving guests the opportunity to relax while taking in the beautiful scenery. The location of the motel is just a couple minutes outside Manchester which has a wide variety of restaurants and shopping. Due to the location of the motel, there are many recreational opportunities including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding and golfing. I would also like to commend the owners and staff for ensuring the safety of their guests by proving contactless check in/check out and wearing of masks.

Been here a few times and I have to say, this is one of Manchester's best kept secrets. The Stamford Motel is warm and inviting and doesn't really fit into the category of motel in my humble opinion. Feels more like a bed and breakfast. The staff is pleasant, the rooms are clean and we'll appointed even though the building is old. The recent renovations add even more to experience. It's also one of the few pet friendly places to stay. You won't find a place with rooms that give you a more breathtaking view of Equinox Mountain.nnAttached to this quaint little gem is Nipper's Cafe who's namesake is also a bit of a misnomer is my opinion. It's more of an steakhouse who's quality falls well within the realm of exceptional. Everything we've tried on the menu is no less than amazing and if you are fortunate enough to eat here when rack of lamb is on the menu....well, all I can say is that it is easily the highlight of all the culinary experiences of my life. 6 stars for this spot!

We just stayed at the Stamford, 1st time on a motorcycle ride from NYS, July3. A long ride from western NY, the room was clean, the king bed comfortable. We had breakfast included in our room rate and it was great,. We plan on coming back.

Very clean, great staff and good atmosphere. The fire pit outside is a great spot to hangout and you can get drinks from the cafe!

Happened upon this place on a website and took the risk (normally stay away from motels, especially ski motels). Pleasant surprise is an understatement. Our room was clean, updated, and nice. The restaurant doesn’t appear to be much from the outside, but is absolutely amazing and our food was incredible. We split the lamb lollipops and they were unbelievable. Only issue (not the hotels fault at all) is the lack of public transportation, taxis, and Ubers to get around town. We ended up sticking around the property and were thankful for it!nnIf you are iffy, don’t be...just make sure you eat at the restaurant!
