The Palmer House was absolutely perfect. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. They have put a lot of thought into every detail, including a phone charging station by the bed so that you don’t have to fiddle with plugs! Everything about it was charming. It was also nice to be able to park right outside your room! This is forever on my list of places to stay in Vermont.

My wife and I were guests at the Palmer House Resort over the weekend of October 2-4. Let me start by saying this property is perfectly situated just on the edge of Downtown Manchester nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains making it convenient to shopping, restaurants and many of the local attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathroom has been recently updated. The on-site staff is very pleasant and hard working. This property has so much potential with lots of land to expand on. You can tell it recently went through a pretty extensive facelift but there is still room for improvement. Despite some of the cosmetic shortcomings we had a comfortable and restful stay at the Palmer House Resort.

We had a wonderful time at the Palmer House in July 2020. The renovated room was very nice and spacious, and included a pull-out sofa bed, a delightfully quiet HVAC unit (a heat pump), and a fridge. Our daughter loved swimming in the pool, and we plan to use the golf and tennis when we return. The manager Jackie was friendly and helpful. One of the best things about the Palmer House is the proximity to town. Beautiful and historic Manchester Center, with many shops and restaurants, is just a short stroll away. A quiet, clean and modern room, and plenty to do and see nearby. This was a great little getaway for our family!

Very new rooms that smell great! Lots of marble and they have a fire pit outside in the common area.

What an amazing location the 360 views are great ,and you can walk to the downtown area ,the room I staied in was very nice and recently renovated, the grounds are very nice, the fire pit area looked new and a great area to sit around the fire, there was no coffee or breakfast included which was advertised but this is covid 19 times so understandable ,this place is very pricey ,my one complaint was I did not find the bathroom area to be the cleanest , but I would recomend the Palmer house if you are in the Manchester VT area and need a place to stay .
