Chef at marsh tavern was very helpful and nice and the food was great. Beautiful views, good menu, but unfortunately the service was slow (took over an hour to get the check) and not what one would expect from a luxury resort. Still, recommend to others as it might have just been an off day.

Nice lovely space. Large fire pit in the back. Live music was nice. Nice bar. Rooms clean and very comfortable beds. Great view of the hills behind the resort.

We paid for larger deluxe king room considering there will be a better view than the rest of the rooms but were highly disappointed when we checked in. The room is so-so and has nothing deluxe about it and has view of the road which is not at all what we wanted. We requested front-desk for room change and were turned down without even them checking if there is another room available or not. We didn't come to Vermont and stay at this so-called luxury property and pay thousands of dollars to get this sub-par room. Anyone coming here should check with them before coming what view you'll be getting. I would suggest booking at another smaller property with a better view. This property is not worth the price you pay.

Lovely place. To use the pool, during covid-19, you must reserve a spot, but you can usually get a reservation for every day you're at the hotel. Meals at breakfast and lunch aren't as good as dinner. Everyone on staff is helpful, they had to fix my room key more than once.

we would have liked to have stayed last week but they were pretty much booked solid that the fact that it was like about $600 a night kind of made me say no. I do have a bonavoy credit card which allows you a free night but in a hotel that expensive it doesn't pay for the whole thing I still would have had to cough up about $350.I have stayed there several times in the past when prices were a little more reasonable which they are different times of the year.of course with the covered now if you want to use the pool you have to sign up for it have to wait to do it can only go in for a 45 minute increment. Kind of takes a lot of the fun out of the whole thing.
