I was an employee for this company and was treated with humiliating leadership. I was screamed at in front of clients, never was told that I did a good job by the owner Gary Dawson.nHe fired not only me but the part owner of the company.nHe was embezzling from the company. Made us do the work and he pocketed the deposits into his own Separate account. Never was there a half down policy agreement deposited into the business account. The part owner put half into this company and was snuffed out.nIf you want terrible service and awful customer service this is the company for you.nEvery single job took much more time than was supposed to because the embezzler was too busy embezzling than to get us the materials we as labor needed. To top it all off he came into our new shop without permission and took all the Double D company tools and ran them to his new storage unit. Yet again if you do business with this company you take a very big risk of being ripped off.
The owner of this company is a thief. He told me I had to write a check for $5300.00 for a deposit to buy 17 windows for my home. I did this on Sept 9th. He deposited the check the next day on Sept 10th and had assured me my windows had been ordered. A month later when I checked on the order Lowe’s told me he had gotten an estimate only and no windows had ever been ordered. Gary (Mike) Dawson has refused letters from me & refused to give me my money back. He also stole my copies of my bids and receipts from my folder. However I have copies of all the cancelled checks (3 he had me write out to him, not to his company). He also did shoddy work as far as a chip in my Formica, texturizing, or lack thereof, of my ceiling, poor job of installing locking door knobs, cutting into the siding of my home (skirting). And generally not finishing up the job. You should NOT hire this company under any circumstances.
