Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dover

Never will I ever book this location again. The staff was friendly but the cleanliness was a nightmare. The pull out bed had never been changed and was covered with some elses personal body hair and bugs. The bathroom was not clean when we got there, and it was not cleaned daily. We were left to clean our own room and supply our own hand soap. We changed the sheets on our pull out bed which then they didn't remove the old ones until 3 days in to our stay (thanks to the Friday housekeeper who was great). I've stayed at other Holiday Inn Express locations and it has always been top notch service. I was very disappointed with this location.

Ran out of coffee creamer at 830am! Not a good way to start the day

First room found pubic hair on remote control. I guess the cleaning lady used the same rag to clean the bathrooms and clean the bedrooms. I got really grossed out and told the staff. Got relocated to another room. Found hair all over that room as well. The front desk did the best the could do to maintain damage control. Unfortunately the cleaning staff needs to be either retrained or retired. Because they are putting peoples lives at risk, not cleaning properly. The staff was very apologetic about it but I couldn’t get over how poorly the place was cleaned. Will never stay there again. Ever.

Beds were very comfortable; safety procedures in place. Staff very nice and helpful!! Will stay here again!!
