Days Inn by Wyndham Dover Downtown

Good overall location. I think the Wyndham name convinced me to check it out.

Ronita, the assistant manager, is a liar. She advised Patrick, the night auditor, that I had checked into my room for hours before checking out, because it was filthy and unsafe, in order to deny me a refund. I actually checked in and out (and had already booked another room at the Best Western on Lebanon) in under an hour and even returned the key. And when I called Priceline to request a refund, I conferenced called Patrick and he advised that he could not see a time stamp of when I physically checked in with Ronita, only the time I reserved the room on Priceline several hours before. Prylanka, the head manager, will be notified and I will be getting my refund. Don't book rooms at this shoty, disorganized and deceitful establishment. Not worth the savings.

We reserved a non-smoking room but to us, the room reeked from smoke. The carpet appeared horribly stained and years past needing to be replaced. I refused to remove my flip flops. The floors felt soft and spongy from severe water damage that has not been repaired. Bed linens appeared to be very faded, old and stained. The shower walls had hair all over them. The shower curtain did not look clean. There were stains and splatters on the walls, doors and even the pictures on the wall. The room door had sustained some type of severe damage…….like being kicked in. The jamb did not frame the door properly leaving a huge crack down the side. The security latch was broken and did not work. The AC did not cool the room properly and was very noisy. The advertised Wi-Fi was nonexistent. Don't bother calling the front desk because they will not answer. We tried 8 times. The parking lot is littered with shopping carts. The landscaping has not been maintained and was extremely overgrown. making the place seem abandoned. We will be traveling to Dover quite often but will never stay here again. The entire place needs to be demolished.

Our group used 3 rooms. None of the rooms were really clean. Many cigarette burns on the linens and furniture. The parking lot is filthy with trash and many cigarette butts. I think the pictures on the website are of a different hotel. Very deceiving. If we could have gotten a refund we would not have stayed here.

Terrible place dryer didn't work properly,rug was too dirt to the point my feets was very black while walk from the bathroom to the bed, my room was no smoking and smells like cigarettes, was a diaper under my bed the bathroom door was broken just an awful place
