we came across a room where the toilet door did not open normally. because the room is small. window to the street and it was very noisy. central heating doesn't work very well and it's cold in the rain. the room is clean and the staff are friendly. in the photo he is much more beautiful than in reality
I live in the area. Can’t give perspective on room. But wife and I love the quiet intimate nature of bar and piano! Great spot!

Stayed here in an emergency when or home water was stopped. The place could use some updating, especially around available power for laptops and all of our other modern electronics. With that said, the bed was a cloud of comfort, with copious pillows. The decor is a bit old school gaudy, but fine. The shower is great, with plenty of hot water. It wasn't a long stay, and it wasn't for leisure, but the location is wonderful and the room is nice. Overall, I recommend it.
Excellent hotel for the price. Wonderful service and features. Beds very comfortable. Clean. And the aesthetic is classic and has an old world elegance. However many things are dated and the hotel should set money aside to swap fixtures and change paint tones and flooring.
