Typically I love CVS, I go all the time as I live close by. However, this week dealing with them has been hell. I have spent hours in total on the phone calling back and forth between this location and the CVS on 14th and Irving. The staff are incompetent to an infuriating degree. I am a kind person but I feel hate in my heart for every person within CVS who has given me misinformation. I almost had to go back to the hospital this week because they made it almost impossible to get the medication I need to take everyday. I wish I had taken the names of every staff member I've dealt with this week so I could report them to management specifically.

This is a very basic location. You can usually find what you need, but expect a long wait for the pharmacy or checkout if visiting in the middle of the day. I would not recommend this location for any photo services. For money orders, It’s ok but I’d recommend going across the street to the check cashing place instead. The staff are nice.

There are a couple pharmacists here who are fantastic and go out of their way to help you. But... in general you are hold for sometimes 30 min before you can get through to the pharmacy.nnThe reason for the 1 star is that I have to physically go into CVS to pick up my meds every month and EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I go in the same Pharmacist has his mask below his mouth. The last time I went, two employees pulled off their masks to talk to each other and the cash register had hers under her nose. I hate that I have to expose myself to COVID to get my medications and in a healthcare store no less.

The absolute worst and most unprofessional pharmacy I’ve ever been to in my life. I wish I could give 0 stars. They will hang up on you if you call, make you wait 40 minutes every time you go to pick up medication because of some error on their end, and will be rude to you the entire time you’re there for no reason. They told me they had no record of my medication in their system (even though a week prior a different pharmacist said it was received) and when I had it sent to a different pharmacy , the new pharmacy told me it was already filled. This CVS is SKETCHY and WILL screw you over. DO NOT GO!!

I had an appt for drive thru covid-19 testing on July 7th at 12pm. There were only about 3 vehicles ahead of me when I arrived at 11:40am. The young gentleman at the window was absolutely the sweetest, most helpful, professional person I've encountered at a CVS (or many other places) since the 11 years I've lived in DC. His instructions for the testing were clear and easy to follow. He spoke slowly and made sure I understood exactly what to do. I told him how nervous I was and almost made a few mistakes but instead of becoming impatient with me, he laughed with me and helped me get it right. If I knew he'd be the person handing me future prescriptions, I'd only ever drive up to this CVS! What a great experience despite the horrible circumstances. I drove away at 12:30pm, 30 minutes after my scheduled appt. Not bad considering the testing mess I was expecting. Thanks so much, I wish I had asked for your name so I could make sure you received the credit you deserve. (Sorry, I was crazy nervous!)
