Gearin' Up Bicycles

Fantastic community bike shop with a great mission to support job training for underserved/at-risk youth and make biking more accessible to the DC area's diverse population. I used it to buy a refurbished road bike (love it, perfect fit, smooth ride), buy new & used accessories (great prices & quality), get adjustments (usually quick/while I wait) and get a tune up (after two years of regular use, rides like new-to-me again). Professional, personable & skilled staff, great prices and convenient to access.

Incredible organization. We just bought a bike from them, it was affordable and well refurbished. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and they had a great selection of bikes.

Because of course I have been unable to swim [Covid-19] and I think biking maybe an answer for me. Keith is totally awesome and an excellent role model. The team that was there on Saturday was awesome. I got a bike well within my budget and I highly recommend this operation.

Great service and just a super cool organization in general

Nonprofit shop with beautiful refurbished bikes. Awesome shop! On Saturdays they have sales, but make sure you come early (around 11:30) because lines form fast!!
