Super 8 by Wyndham Clinton

Great little property. The room was very well appointed and super clean. Check in staff was okay, check out staff was really courteous and helpful. Breakfast was lacking but it worked for my purpose, traveling on the road.

On Friday the 27th of November 2020 I traveled from Oklahoma city oklahoma to Clinton Arkansas to visit friends and family over the Thanksgiving weekend. After driving for 6 plus hours and then hiking for approximately 3 hours my family and I went to your hotel to check-in. After checking in and getting to the room I proceeded to the bathroom to start my shower and prepare for bed after a very long day. While in the shower I noticed a roach climb along the ceiling and also the water in the shower would not drain from tub. I killed the roach and turn off the water and got out of the shower. I immediately called the front desk and talk to the 4pm to 12am shift associate and informed her of the situation with my room. She apologized for the inconvenience and ask if she could call her manager and find out what options she had to help us with out room issues. I told her yes and waited for approximately 15 minutes for her to call me back. When she called and I answered the phone she began to tell me my options....which her manager had told her she could don1) move to another room...upstairsn2 check out and go to another hotel.nI chose to move to another room due to the long day I had already been involved in. Once the new room was assigned and I was given new room keys I proceeded upstairs to the new room and the keys(2) didn't work. I walked back down to the office and got the keys reset and went back upstairs and they didn't work again. At this point I am extremely frustrated having to move around without being able to get anything accomplished. Finally I was giving a handicapped accessible room and offered a 15% discount.nnDo you think that is enough for all of the hassle??nRoaches..nClogged tub..n3 trips to the office for room keys that don't work...

What can I say huge room packed with facilities and great decor, typical AR Style. If I ever went back to AR again I would stay here. Just make sure that you have a map with you... Oh and the pool bar was incredible with a top dj banging out the tunes

My family and I staid there over July 4th weekend. We had no issues with service at all.nnOne of the rooms we stayed in was great!! The other was good too except the drain to the shower. It wouldn't stay up so we had to rig it with a small wash cloth so it would drain. Then, there wasn't a fan in the shower/bathroom area, so as you showered, everything got wet from the mildew. There is another review that mentioned the microwave light. As soon as we turned the lights off to go to bed, that gentlemans review popped in my head!! He was absolutely right!!! The light is super bright! No worries though as I turned the microwave to the side and that blocked out the light.nnIt was a great stay other than that. Only minor inconveniences. :)
