They really make the effort to please.
I'm guessing that it was built in the 50's. Typical little roadside motel for back then. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, TV. We were there in November, had a ceramic space heater in the room. But it kept the room plenty warm. Could definitely use updating, especially the bathroom. Stall type shower, not in very good shape. Hot water takes a while to reach the faucets. But plenty of it. Cindee, I believe to be the owner. Very nice! Although it needs a little TLC, it's a nice little place. Way, way better than the Days inn just down the road I stayed in 2 weeks ago. Very friendly staff. Newer but kind of a dump. And too high a price for what you get. If I come back. Mountain View Motel is where I will be.
Was hesitant upon arrival, but our stay turned out to be a nice surprise. If you’ve got a dog or dogs, the place is perfect. It’s not fancy, but reasonably priced and close to attractions. Would stay there again.

This motel is a great place to stay....it's a older motel...but very well maintained.....we have been coming for 5 years...the owner goes out of her way to do things for you.....comes in every day cleans,Vacuums and straights the bed and puts out fresh towels..... And just walking distance to the square... The most important part is that I feel safe.....
