Days Inn by Wyndham Mountain View

Warning, do not stay here. We booked a double bed room over the phone and when we got there they put us in a single. We immediately went back to the office where we were told we would have to pay more for 2 beds. We refused so they put us in a double at no extra charge, so they said. They ended up charging my credit card for the more expensive room. This room smelled like death. The ac was dripping onto the carpet. We did not unpack nor use the shower. We had to sleep in our shoes because the carpet was soaked. We were going to check out andnleave but the front office was closed. We couldn't wait for the morning so we could get the heck out of this disgusting place.nI would've rather slept in their parking lot.

Do not recommend staying here unless no other choice available. Staff do not wear masks, they said breakfast and pool were available, neither were available. No trash can nor fridge in rooms. And the wifi is not even worth having on. Rooms werent terrible though. Definitely not worth the price though.

Friendly and helpful people, bed was comfortable enough and I did not notice any odor, but the room was not very clean at this location. Large stains on the carpet and the bottom the bathtub was dark. I showered in sandals. Also it took all night for the sink to drain. We used the ice bucket to catch the water so it would not fill up the sink again while we got ready the next morning. The bed spread was a medium blue with a white trim at the top. The trim was dirty all across the top. I flipped the spread upside down figuring I'd rather take my chances with the end of it being cleaner than the top since it draped over the end of the bed. I will say the sheets and pillow cases smelt very clean and fresh, but I folded the spread and blanket half way down so it wasn't around my face and slept with a flannel over shirt. I would not have minded the carpet being frayed behind the door (probably someone's dog scratched it), it it hadn't had the large stains in the middle of the room. No breakfast due to Covid. All in all I wasn't very happy. I have been in much nicer Motels by Wyndham and that is the only reason we took our chance booking by phone. I won't make that mistake again. The price wasn't much lower than Holiday Inn Express, Best Western and some others we stayed in on this road trip, but the others were much cleaner and worth $25.00 to $30.00 more. Cleanliness is my number one need at a motel/hotel. Also Holiday Inn and Best Western let you get breakfast and take it back to your room.

Zero star again! Upon booking she said the back row smelled musty and I told her I wanted the best room available. We didn't get what we asked for and had to change it out. The one we got SMELLED SO BAD! The smoke alarm had been pulled from the wall and wires were hanging. The floor was wet from a drippy air conditioner the coffee pot was dirty and a pillow had what look like mildew on it!.

Musty smell. Not given any wifi info. TV picture so fuzzy you couldn't watch. Ants in bathroom. Desperately needs updating. Given zero information upon checkin. Will not be back.
