We stayed at Kiwanie Kabin over July 4th weekend and absolutely loved it! The building is a former counselors’ cabin from a Girl Scout camp, and we enjoyed the special touches of Girl Scout memorabilia in the house. Although it’s been around a long time, the cabin has been updated and is super comfy and cozy.nnWe’re just a family of 3 (and 3 dogs), but with two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa there was enough space that we could’ve brought a couple more people and still been comfortable. The farmhouse table had plenty of room for meals and for us to play board games on in the evenings.nnWe enjoyed the views of beautiful Lake Galilee, and loved spending evenings on the porch after cooking dinner on the charcoal grill. During the daytime, we explored Hardy and Mammoth Springs. We were especially thrilled to learn that the rental came with passes to utilize the amenities of Cherokee Village. We hiked some of their trails, went to a couple of their lakes, and even swam in the pool that overlooks Lake Thunderbird.nnI’d highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to getaway to the Hardy / Cherokee Village area.
