Made the drive with my father from Ohio to visit some family, and boy I was not expecting views like this. Living in a the same place all my life made coming here a more than welcome change.nThe scenery is breathtaking. We spent an entire day sitting on the back deck just looking at the trees. On clear days you can see about 30-40 miles out to the cell tower, that tower is really the only hint of civilization out there.nThe cabin was magnificent, electric stove and oven, microwave, fridge and toaster are all there. Everything is so nice and well kept.nThe only thing is the cell signal is really spotty of your not with AT&T. But I didn't really care. You come out here to disconnect from life and you can do just that. I definitely plan on coming back, and eventually bring my kids too.
We traveled from Ohio to Cozahome. 12 hours on the road just melted away with the first look at the view. The first sunset that evening was really something to see. As the sun set over the ridge a low buzz of insect and frogs makes you realize how quite and peaceful things are. Slowly the stars came out in the clearest sky I've ever seen. Without light pollution you can see the milky way.nThe sunrise is beautiful in the mist and haze of the morning. As the fog slowly recedes you can see the ridges and wide open spaces that surround you.nThe Buffalo River and hiking are all around you. The neighbors will come by to talk to you all very friendly. A couple towns are only 45 minutes away. Unless you have att cellphones are pretty spotty, but your here for the chance to unplug anyway.nI stayed the beginning of August and already booked time in October.
It was very fun to explore and the quality was very good.
