Ruth and Grace always go off the charts to create a first rate agritourism experience. You can witness a TRUE farm to table existence when you stay and eat a culinary meal with thought and love. They have made themselves into a: dairy farm, local ware gift shop, chef prepared small (but well made) mini restaurant, and have a full functioning farm that is self sustained. What a beautiful life!
I don’t know where to start. Maybe they deserve 5 stars because just sitting at the kitchen table eating some delicious chicken Marsala that Ruth and her daughter, Grace just prepared. Or maybe it was the fascinating conversation that was going on between each bite of dinner learning about farm life. Now it could have been Tom’s (Ruth’s husband) occasional input on our thought- provoking conversation. I am leaning towards the idea of staying in a beautiful 3 bedroom country cottage perched high about the view of the cows, chickens, goats and alpacas and many other of Gods gifts for us to enjoy. Whatever it was, we enjoyed a lovely few days and will definitely be returning. Thank you Ruth, Grace and Tom for your hospitality.
We just had the most delightful stay here--the hosts are wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful! We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts during our stay and they were all absolutely amazing! We enjoyed snuggling with newly hatched ducklings and milked the cow. In the evenings, we got into the hot tub on the deck, watched the sunset and saw the milky way. The only problem was that we didn't want to leave!
I love the time we spend there! The owners are such great hosts! We go there as often as we are able!
