this place was disgusting! bugs crawling everywhere. i woke up to a HUGE bug crawling on me in my sleep. i couldn’t go back to sleep this is a -10 hotel. DO. NOT. COME.
This is arguably the second worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. I can hear the traffic on the highway so clearly that I keep thinking the door is open, the smell of mold is overpowering, the mattress is rock hard with very loud springs, and I payed an extra $15 for the privilege of having my terrified cat collect all kinds of filth from under the headboard. It’s probably a slightly better option than sleeping in my car, but right now I’m wishing I had driven on. Also, it’s June 2020 and, beyond canceling the breakfast buffet, Days Inn is making no apparent effort to protect guests from exposure to COVID-19, not even a token reassurance that sanitation is being taken seriously. I guess you get what you pay for, and this is what $60 of mold smell smells like.
