The Dunes Motel

It should be half the price for what you get. Terrible/no access for people with difficulty walking. Linoleum floor in room, not even any rugs, noisy thru-wall air conditioner style heating (maybe cooling) that run constantly or not at all. Sink with open drain (don't drop anything!!!) You have to climb more stairs to get to the first floor rooms than the 2nd floor! (I'm not kidding! Really crazy!) Bed wasn't bad, but the 3 little couch pillows were ridiculous. No coffee or coffee makers.

This is an updated review:nnThis motel has an unpleasant smell that lingers in the lobby and hallways. The room I stayed in was shabby and it seemed the housekeeper never vacuumed very well- I actually bought a broom & dustpan to clean the floors while I was staying there. The bed was only made every other day. I had to repeatedly ask for soap, as the housekeeper didn't like leaving any during her cleaning process. During my extended stay, I can recall just ONCE that my room was cleaned thoroughly, as it should have been EVERY time. The outdated furnishings, lumpy bed, tiny, dented refrigerator, desk with drawers that would not stay closed, and dirty carpeting that was not professionally installed, but instead just thrown over some equally dirty, shabby, underlying flooring.nThe housekeeper that cleaned my room was extremely rude on more than one occasion. The owner and his wife were equally as rude and had no people skills whatsoever. I will say the two young ladies, as well as the young gentleman that worked the front desk, were very nice, professional and attentive.nThe Dunes Motel is extremely overpriced for the low level in which it is ranked.

Quite, beautiful bedroom, beautiful bathroom, the room was ready to be used. No bed bugs!!!!

Very nice and clean. I will always come here when I need a motel.

This is a dirty as nastiest place I've ever been. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother I'd rather sleep in the car.
