Hotel was under renovation so the restaurant and pool was closed. The hotel is in rough shape and in need of updates which they are working on. Staff was great and friendly. Housekeeping services could had been better.
Almost always very good service and lovely rooms. I've stayed here for business and recreation and it's smack in the middle of everything and great for the price! I highly recommend. I only have 4 stars because this past visit, they had me on the 1st floor with construction because no other rooms were ready on floors above. It was different but I survived.
Was there for a meeting only so as far as a meeting room goes, it was nice sized and clean but they need to work on actually measuring when keeping people six feet apart at the tables. I did have a look at the pool and I liked how it was a dual indoor/outdoor pool. It looked clean and refreshing. The location was convenient to many restaurants.
Although advertised the pool is open, it is not, due to Covid-19. We chose the hotel because of the pool. Being understanding of the pandemic we chose to stay. In all fairness, the night staff informed us we were the second family to have inquired about the pool being open, and was told the hotel would allow us to cancel our booking to stay at another hotel, if we decided to do so. The hotel is nice, clean and friendly. Again, we decided to stay. There is mildew in the bathroom, not a big deal, it doesnt appear to be mold, I think! Check out time is 12 pm., the cleaning lady came in our room at 0920 to clean. We WERE sleeping!! We still believe this is a nice hotel but was startled awake too soon! I will choose to look at this as they are Johnny-on-the-spot about cleaning and not about getting us to leave earlier than the advertised check out time. The restraunt is also closed for remodeling although that wasnt disclosed on the website, either.
The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom, however, was tiny. Just be aware, if you are thinking of booking a stay here, that the restaurant and the lounge are closed. Undergoing renovations, so the amenities are not as described. I.E., no ice machines or vending machines except on the first floor. Also, be sure you locate the actual fire exits because the signs in the hallways are erroneous because of the renovations. Would not have booked here had I known, so I want to save someone else the trouble.
