McKenzie Park Apartments

For the location and the price, these apartments are outstanding. The high ceilings, large kitchen, large pantry, huge closet, ceiling fans, excellent overhead lighting, washer/dryer and nice fixtures really add to the comfort of my 1-bedroom apartment. And they are very well insulated so the sound from other apartments is barely discernable. Neighbors have been quiet and respectful and maintenance and management are top-notch. I'm truly going to miss living here. I can't recommend them enough!

I’m 16 and I’ve lived here for about two years. The apartments are gorgeous just pretty small for the amount of money they’re charging. All of the staff is great except this one guy, who I won’t name. My first week here he gave very bad energy and frequently questioned if I stayed here. I’m talking literally harassed me! He was like “do you live here,” “why haven’t I ever seen you,” “what apartment number do you live in,” “can you show me your key.” This made me really uncomfortable and prevented me from being able to fully experience everything the apartment had to offer. To this day he still gives my mother and I very bad energy, but what makes it worse is that he is overly kind to other occupants, specifically ones that aren’t of color... Another run in that we’ve had with this same apartment manager happened today. Because I am 16, I am able to access the pool without an adult. When I went to try my key it didn’t work, so I went to the desk to get it fixed. He told me that minors aren’t even supposed to have a key and that he didn’t know that I even lived there which was clearly a lie. How are 16 year olds supposed to get in the pool without an adult if they aren’t permitted keys? It doesn’t make sense. All in all, we are looking to move very soon, and I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex for anyone with children, especially teenagers.

Very small bedrooms .... tiny closets. Great for minimalists. Apartment sized furniture a must! Other than their small size and high rent, they're cute apartments. Gated with pool and covered parking available.
