Stonehill Cottages

We enjoyed our time at Stonehill Cottages. The setting is beautiful. The cottage is just the right size for our family of four. The lake is a short drive away. The owners are responsive and professional. Lots of great hiking in the area. We would definitely return.

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Cottage was lovely, very clean, well stocked, and in quiet surroundings. Bethesda Lake was just down the road with a dock, newly stocked fish for fun catch and release, picnic tables, chairs, BBQ grills, kayaks, paddle boats, and games. Forrest roads and Wolf Pen Gap Trails were a lot of fun and very accessible. Didn’t even need a map. We have already recommended it and plan to return ourselves with family. Thanks for a great, safe from Covid get away.

Hands down Stonehill Cottages is one of our top 5 vacations for real relaxation, recreation and stellar scenery all in one place. We had a couple’s getaway and it was perfect! The owners were communicative, helpful and available from the time I inquired about their property until the day we checked out. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort. No detail was forgotten. We were very comfortable, especially at bedtime. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, we slept like babies. We always felt safe and the owners were close by if we needed anything. Far enough away from town but not so far that it was inconvenient to drive and pick something up or go eat. It was nice to have a designated fire pit right off the back patio just a little ways. The grounds were immaculate and full of beautiful sights and sounds. Our first night driving in, we pulled up and there were 5 deer right in front of our cottage. Just down the long drive, there’s a picturesque babbling brook that runs along side the cottage. I could have sat there the entire week and been happy. We will be back with our family to enjoy Arkansas at Stonehill Cottages. I highly recommend these cottages to anyone wanting a beautiful getaway. We went ATV’ing and had the time of our lives. There’s also a beautiful lake and pretty waterfall on the property for fishing, swimming and paddle boating. We highly recommend these cottages for any occasion!

My husband and I spent our 25th Anniversary here this week. What a magical place, the fall colors are amazing. The Rose Cottage was amazing, top quality bedding. I couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate.

Wonderful experience everyone should give there family a weekend here ... Hiking fishing cabin experience in a remote area ...your children will definitely enjoy the experience.
