Swaha Lodge & Marina

It's a well oiled machine at Swaha, everything they do, it is spot on. I've been going to this lake since 1965, and have stayed at Swaha over the years but in the last few years, it's been exceptional. It's clean, great food at the Dam Grill, and our stay there in the cabins are always perfect!!! The family owned business is where its at! Aspen, Kevin, and Janet are the most friendly, and it shows they care about the people who stay there. The Catfish on Friday evenings at the Grill is the best by far, and my second choice is the hamburgers. I hope things never change in that small slice of heaven in Swaha!!!

First of all our stay at the Clumsy Owl Cabin A over the weekend of Nov.6-8th 2020 was okay,we can not speak reviews of lake Greeson itself cause we never went out on lake,we were there for a social event at the nearby dam pavilion for geocaching.I guess I could kinda blame myself for not asking before booking online,they DO NOT have internet service anywhere in this area for their guests but have to have it at the office itself cause they run your credit card for the payment.as long as this marina has been here you would think they would care more about their guest than this.brought our coffee and fixings from home to make coffee but when my wife opened up the reservoir to place filter and water in there was several smallbugs in there plus hair and dust as if they had been in there the better part of six months, so that tells you how much they thourally clean,so no coffee for us the next two mornings while sitting outside. Pulled cover back to get in bed later on that night and there was a long piece of hair ,we guess while the last house cleaning it fell of the housekeepers head,other than that we had a good weekend,very doughtful we will ever stay here again since town is only 4 miles away,which have several nice hotels and their prices are way under the cabin prices and they have internet services and most of the eateries are within walking distance. I've been going to Lake Gresson for over 60 years, just stayed again at Swaha Lodge, with my wife who I first brought to Swaha 49 yrs ago, the people are like family, the cabins clean, comfortable it is a relaxing setting, I've brought my own boat many times, but the last few years have been renting pontoon boats, it's easier than pulling your own, the rates very reasonable, the boats are new in great condition. A great place to getaway, slow down & just have fun, we always hate to leave, & are planin our next trip back. I have turned many friends on to his jewel over the years, & will be bringing some men from my Men's ministry up in October, all country is God's country but He smiled on this special place for a while. Something for all ages, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, to just sitting on the porches at the cabins watching the wildlife.

My family really enjoyed the Rustic Cabin for our family trip to Murfreesboro to visit Crater of Diamonds and Lake Greeson. Great view from the wrap around porch. Dog friendly is a huge plus for us and was exactly what we were looking for in a rental Cabin. We highly recommend checking Out the resort and what they have to offer. Great Lake for swimming and relaxation.

Four of us went to fish for a week at the beginning of March and we stopped a few times at Swaha. The people who own the place were so friendly and helpful. We had no idea about trout fishing, so they spent an hour schooling us up on the laws and actual fishing strategies. We had never met and we weren’t staying there, they were just friendly! We appreciated them so much and stopped by a few times to ask them how to get around and stuff. Always friendly and helpful and I highly recommend them. We Are planning another trip and plan to stay at their lodge next time.
