Royal Motor Inn

The owner/mgr is a very nice lady. The only thing about our stay is the fact that there is no maid service if you stay long periods of time. My fiance and I stayed now for a week and a half & paid $420.00 cash per week. I definitely feel like I should get maid service if I choose & or need. I even went & bought a broom and have cleaned my own room. That's all fine but we paid enough money that I feel we deserve that service. Some cable channels come in & out but overall it's been a nice stay. I would recommend to stay here to people either whom live in or out of town. We are new to town & trying to find a Apartment or a house to rent. Thank you Royal Motor Inn (Ruby)!!!!! P.S the people whom stay here are blue colour folk. I've been super impressed with feeling of kind,warm hard working people. We have meet some great people here!!!

I stay there quite a bit when in the area for jobs. It's not a fancy hotel, but all I need is a bed and a shower anyway. The price is right, and it's within walking distance of my favorite Italian restaurant in La Grande. Plus there is a quiet little bar a half a block further down the road.

The woman at the desk was so nice!nThe room was adequate for my taste. There were definitely spots that needed to be cleaned more. The whole room could use a deep cleaning.nThe bed was very comfortable, and the larger fridge was nice to store items.nIt did seem like there were several people that were living in the rooms. These people were loud and a bit sketchy, but I'm from Portland, so I see it everywhere.nWould I stay here again? Yes, I would. The room was inexpensive and I got what I paid for :)

Ruby at the front desk was a gem of a woman. This place is in the heart of downtown La Grande and right across the street from an old Texaco gas station that is being renovated. When looking over the second floor balcony of the Royal Motor Inn you can see why colonizer Charles Dause used the phrase “La Grande” to describe the beauty of the area. The room is old and perfect. The two lamps that didn’t work really set the film noir mood that I always actively seek out in motels and the room had that great old timey motel smell that reminds you that you arent at your house. I would absolutely stay here next time I’m passing through La Grande and you probably should too.

This is a clean and quiet Motel with friendly staff...We are currently stranded and the owners hhave done everything to make things easier for us..Clean comfy beds ..Large tv with cable..mini fridge and microwave..Definitely recommend this for anyone who is traveling through or needs a longer stay...
