Very family friendly lodge. Pictures do not do justice for the sunrise you get in the morning while watching from the balcony. Rooms are very spacious with all of the standard amenities plus some. The food in the diner is incredible compared to other lodges and hotels you will stay at. My one year old really enjoyed her grilled chicken meal. The chicken fried chicken was thick and tender. Can’t wait to come back.
I was not a guest at the beautiful lodge. But I bought gifts there since regular gift shop is closed. Stunning breathing views. Employees I encountered were very nice. I was allowed to sit and enjoy the view from the lodge. My entire Mt. Magazine experience will give me smiles for a lifetime.
Breath taken
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You just can't beat the scenery, especially the sunsets. In the restaurant, ask for a table by a west facing window to see the sunset.
The Good: It's gorgeous. The building, the scenery, the rooms. Everything was clean and well taken care of.nnThe Bad: The staff. Absolutely subpar. They would fit in well at a fleabag, pay by the hour place. The front desk staff was rude, snappy, acted inconvenienced. The Restaurant staff was Rushing everyone bothered evening and morning visits. The servers are frantic, and rude.nnOVERALL: Great place, horrible staff.
