My sister booked a room online for five people. Based on their website they had a two queen bedroom suite with a sofa bed. We drove 8 hrs from Texas to a room with only two beds, two ottomans, and a bench. Definitely not enough room for five people to sleep. I don't think they had any rooms with a sofa bed. The website also mentioned having roll away cots. They didn't have those either. They didn't offer any real solutions to our issue so we booked a room somewhere else that actually had what they advertised.

I reserved a room for 3 adults and 2 children (total 5 people). When I reserved the room the details stated 2 queens with a sofa bed. After driving 8 hours and ready to relax we check into our room. Once we enter the room to our surprise there are 2 queen beds, but no sofa bed. In the area where the sofa bed should be are 2 ottomans.nnI return to the front desk and the young lady who checked us in has left. So I explained to the new attendant that I didn't get the room we reserved and we didn't have enough beds, there isn't a sofa bed. He looks confused and asked if I entered the correct number of occupants on my reservation, I assured him I did and even showed my email confirmation. He said they didn't have any of those rooms available. So I ask for a cot or rollaway bed, but they have none although the website clearly states they provide them.nnA manager was called, but didn't call back quick enough for me. I called another local hotel, Holiday Inn Express and they had exactly what we needed, so we left and stayed there instead.nnIf you make changes such as these to your hotel rooms you need to state that on your website.

Very nice stay HOWEVER knowing this is a non smoking hotel from the INSIDE I was charged 250$ for smoking outside the hotel and coming in smelling like smoke ! That is very unreasonable and the only thing they can say is “you were charged cause it SMELLED like smoke” are you serious ??? No smoke detector went off. No damages to any of the furniture. Nothing was literally damaged. You can’t stay here if you go outside to smoke and come in and smell like smoke. they will charge your card

Bedbugs on room 323! We reported this when we checked out. Nothing was done for our inconvenience. We love Choice Hotels, but this one has been permanently banned from our stay list.
