Tradewinds Motel Rockaway Beach

Always a wonderful experience, this is our fourth stay at our favorite hotel on the beach! Friendly family owned hotel with beautiful rooms and views. If you want to be able to relax in your bed while listening and viewing the ocean, look no further! Provides quick access to the beach and town while maintaining privacy. Thank you to the staff for always being warm and welcoming!

Lovely room. Very comfortable bed. Nice kitchenette. Neil at the front desk was personable and gifted us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon. Nice clean bathroom. Stellar view and access to the beach. Thank you Tradewinds

I absolutely LOVE this place! It has become our absolute favorite place to go when we take a trip to the beach!nOur room is always very clean. And during this Covid-Time, I had no doubts that they would go the extra mile to ensure they are very very clean. And they do!nThis place is like a hidden treasure! I love opening the sliding glass door and hearing nothing but the ocean. Standing on our deck just feet away from the beach, nothing but ocean for miles.nThe beach rarely has many people on it so it is very easy to remain socially distant from others.nBut it all starts with Neil. He is just the best. Him and his staff are always friendly and accommodating if we need anything.nThis has been my favorite visit so far.....nnNeil,nFrom the bottom of my heart and soul, I cannot thank you enough for what you did for my boys and myself. Going above and beyond and out of your way when you didn't have to. We are so grateful and we will never forget your compassion and kindness and making us feel worthwhile and welcomed!!

Excellent Saturday and Sunday night stay. Ocean View room and balcony is beautiful, modern, new and spotless clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. Looks like they are making continuous improvements to the motel.

Wonderful owners. They were short staffed and had to modify certain things due to covid, but was clean and very accommodating. Direct beach access. Take a trip to the town of Rockaway during mid week for a laid back stay. Rockaway perks up quite a bit on weekends. The Old Smokehouse is a seafood and clam chowder must.
