Small and quaint room on the bay. The beds were very comfortable and the front desk was helpful. A little more pricey but you're right on the water and supporting a local business. I would recommend this place as a neat and cozy place to stay.
The honeymoon suite was beautiful! The private patio was lovely. The tub was the best! It was so deep and you can seat two so comfortably. Will definitely be back!
The energy at this place is special! I stayed in The mermaid room is lovely. I saved up and rented this room for my birthday. Pricey but I don’t regret it. Perfect special day place. Love.
Nice people, nice room, nice location. The Mermaid Room is a perfect spot for an anniversary night. There are kayaks for use on the bay, very smooth and safe. You don't really cook inside- there is a microwave and a little sink but they also have some silverware and plates & bowls to use, and a little grill outside. The walls are a little thin- we heard the neighbors a bit but not really a problem. Several types of birds and a little family of river otters showed up in the evening and morning.
It is my first time at this lodge and I stayed in Capitan room# 12 and it is surprisingly very nice place. My room is more like 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom appointment. The host was very friendly and place inside is very neat and clean. Love it.
