Inn at Manzanita

We stayed in the Cottage Room August 17-19, 2020. We had been wanting to stay here for quite some time. The place is dated and in need of maintenance. We were very disappointed. For the price point, we expected more. The office is not staffed and your room is not cleaned. We were OK with not being cleaned - we expect that with the Covid situation. Not having availability of office staff except for a short window every day is not ideal. I really wanted to talk to someone about our issues but I called several times with no answer. I finally left a message but didn't get a return call until we had checked out. We won't be back.nPositives:n--Very roomy, it was like having a little apartment.n--The jacuzzi bathtub was awesome.n--It felt very private even though we shared the building with another room.n--The grounds were very pretty.n--We had our own dedicated parking place.n--It was very nice to have a balcony to sit out in the sunshine and smell the ocean air.nNegatives:n--The light bulb in the bedroom was burned out. How do you clean the room and not notice that the light bulb is burned out?n--One light bulb in the living room area is burnt out.n--The shower head was very plugged up and needed to be replaced.n--Most windows didn't have screens. It was warm while we were there (and no air conditioning) so we left the windows open at night which let the bugs in and we both got bit.n--Most of the blinds have at least one broken piece so you couldn't close them properly.n--The bed only had a top sheet and a duvet. It was warm and that duvet was incredibly heavy, however, the top sheet was not enough. There were no extra blankets anywhere.n--The TV had no signal. We followed the directions in the provided notebook and it still didn't work. We were able to get a movie from the office area and use the DVD player.n--The bathroom sink had no stopper so things fell down the drain and were difficult to retrieve.

We stayed in the Starseeker room at the Inn. The room was fantastic and I love the little nook where the bed was located. It even had a window above your head so I could look up at the stars on a clear night. The outside deck has a view of the ocean. The indoor jacuzzi was awesome. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. We'll be back again for sure.

Stayed here a couple years ago when for our babymoon. The big spa tub was AMAZING. Great views and friendy staff as well, and centrally located on Laneda.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Inn at Manzanita for our honeymoon — what a lovely spot! This is a great place if you're looking for something close to the beach but with the touches of home. We highly recommend the Inn at Manzanita and hope to stay there again soon.

Booked the Carmel room for the night. When we got there, Matt was super nice and said that since the street light right outside was really bright he would move us to the Manzanita room for free. It even has a better view. Room was very comfortable. Perfect for an overnight away with my boyfriend and dog. Would love to stay here again.
