Bridgeway Inn & Suites Portland Airport

Aside from some sticky carpet and dingy appearance, the room was relatively clean. My main issue was with the check-in.nnStaff were not wearing masks and did not seem to take mask discipline seriously. But I also found this to be par for the course in Gresham and East Portland. Folks out there didn't get the memo and they seem quite amused by the whole idea of trying to prevent the spread of a potentially deadly virus. The situation improved to the closer you got to town so staying closer to downtown might be a good idea.nnAlso I had paid in advance through a booking app and went to great lengths to communicate this to the check-in staff when I handed over my card to them and was assured that they understood. One hour later a charge shows up on my card for the full amount of the room. I was not able to get the charge reversal initiated until the next day with the manager. Staff responsible was unable to do anything to reverse it themselves. Management did not behave as if they were concerned about the situation at all.nnI also found it amusing that they put the word airport in their name since they are not very close at all to the airport. 10 to 15 minutes by car with no traffic. If I had been staying there for the airport proximity I would have been greatly disappointed.nnThere are plenty of hotels in this area that are reasonably priced. I would roll the dice & gamble on another one if I was staying in this area again. I don't think I will be back to this hotel.

The bathroom was filthy and noisy with white paint everywhere. The bathroom tile was cracked and I almost fell on a loose tile. The bathroom door was sticky and falling apart with an X etched on the back of it.nnThere were no light bulbs in the lamps by the bed or the lamp on the desk. There were burn holes in the bedspread on the bed. The charging station on the bedside lamp did not work. I understand about not having breakfast or not being allowed to use the pool during this pandemic but instead of letting guests know that there’s breakfast in the morning and the pool hours you should tell them that these services have been discontinued until further notice. The parking lot and hallways smelled heavily of smoke.nnThe person that checked me in was nice.

This place is awesome, the bed is huge ,the TV screen I feel like I'm in a miniature movie theater I have a great view it's amazingud83dude03

I recommend that nobody stays here I recommend I shouldn't have stayed here yes before I took a shower I had to clean the hair out of the shower drain nasty disgusting
