BMO Bank of Montreal

This bank is fine. Not sure why everyone else reviewing negatively is having such a hissy fit. Signage is clear, I deposited some cash at the machine, the tellers were friendly and helpful. It's big and spacious, and it's probably a bit understaffed and empty feeling because it's a pandemic.

Great service! The staff always goes above and beyond

Guarda security guard hired by this branch was extremely rude and condisending. Came to the branch and did not have a mask. Gave me attitude and about not knowing about some edmonton bylaw. I said I would gladly put on a mask if he has one he continued to give me attitude and said no one would help me at the bank without a mask. He continued to ask me if I watch the news or read signs on buses. At this point I explained that I do not take a bus and there is no reason to be snarky. Again I asked if the bank could provide me with a mask and at that point he reluctantly handed me one. Unfortunately this 1st impression was not impressive however the teller was helpful. On a side note 30 dollars to certify a cheque is highway robbery. Td charges 10. Bmo should be more competetive with their fees.

Was in there today and many staff not wearing masks properly and many patrons not wearing masks at all. Branch manager was nowhere to be seen. Homeless people coming in off street sitting in chairs with no masks. I waited in line for a couple min then left and will not be back to this branch ever!

Horrible service. Brenda Frost Personal Relationship Advisor unprofessional and could not provide a 5-star service. Could not even get my PIN set up with my atm card - BMO 101 training needed
