RBC Royal Bank

10/10 do not recommend. Trying to open an account here is like pulling teeth. When you finally get approved (after the 2-3 months of trying.) Do NOT get excited the day they said your account is open because it will not be. Then don't bother trying to contact them because they will avoid your emails and calls. Last thing I open with RBC. I heard good things about TD.

If the bad reviews dont tell you the staff here is horrible then you probably wont believe it till you go there. I have never dealt with a more incompetent bunch of people in my life. Have switched all my accounts.

Finally, I've found a better place to wait than at QE2 hospital, but far less helpful. Great for appointments but absolutely abysmal for walk in service.

When you ask RBC why their savings interest rates are so low compared to e-banks, they say because you're able to walk into a bank and get service. This branch like all RBC branches is understaffed and useless when trying to sit down with someone. I will take my business to an ebank where at least i can do what i need to do and get 4-6 times the RBC rate on my savings.

If I could give this bank no stars, I would. Worst service we have ever had. Will be changing banks ASAP
