RCMP - Grande Prairie

Peace officer pulled my boyfriend over on his dirt bike. Read the registration date wrong, accused him of an expired registration until he mentioned that it was registered two months ago, then she was like “uh oh right” Then proceeded to talk about the plate being attached to the front telling him to “weld” it to the back because it’s illegal in the front, like that’s possible? I want to mention that I have a screenshot of the Alberta rules for an off road vehicle and it mentions that it can be anywhere on the bike!! So learn your facts! I’m so not impressed. The two tickets give were understandable otherwise.

Saw an officer who punched a bad guy in the face so he wouldnt get away with a mom's vehicle. His hand was all busted up in the ER as we chatted waiting in line. It was a super cool story. 5 star. Would recommend the Grande Prairie Police Department.

When a whole department has the flu, someone should call us with any delays for crim-rec checks. Not only do I not have it on the day they said; 2 wks to the day, but I have to call in 2 days for an ETA; still nothing, & I prob won't receive a callback. This is bad business, but gov is allowed, & I’ll move on after this post. I mean, when this is resolved. P.S. They don't call with ETA's, we have to, over and over. P.S.S. Donate some smiles & envelopes to them, if you're in a position to do so.

They were Very gentile when they handcuffed me. There cars were very roomy and was a smooth ride. I only got tazed once. Overal, They were very professional and 10/10 would enjoy being arrested again

Extremely unprofessional. Very typical of small town police trying to flex their power. Had to deal with them on a few occasions and they really are an embarrassment to the profession
