They lock this place down like it’s in a bad neighborhood. This Shell is located in an award winning community yet they make you buzz to get in and have a glass divider between you and the cashier. It is definitely not inviting...

These people are crooks. They raise their gas prices an extra 5 - 20 cents every morning, and then drop them back down later. There a CO-OP gas station right across the street that doesn't do this. Go there or anywhere else instead.

Buyer beware at this location when using Sobeys gas coupons. I shop at Sobeys and often get gas coupons, so I started filling up at this Shell location. You have to go in and pre-pay inside to use the coupon, and I typically pay by debit. When you go in and give them the coupon, they pull out a calculator and start typing away, making it look like you're getting a discount and when you go to the pump it shows the discounted rate. What they don't tell you is you paid full price and unless you go back inside AGAIN after filling up and ask for the cash back, you just paid full price for gas even though the pump showed a lower price. The last 3-4 times I went in I realized I was paying full price for gas and had to go back inside to ask for my money back. Today I called them out on it and they said ''We tell people you have to come back in to get your cash when you're done''... this was probably my 10th time using a Sobeys coupon and they have never mentioned this to me before. I wonder how many people use a coupon, pay debit, and just leave like I did the first few times? I wonder where all that cash goes? My experience made me feel like they're scammers and I won't be returning. I bet they made $50 or more off me by not giving me the discounted rate all those times, even though the pump showed it.
