Best Western Wayside Inn

Very clean; friendly, efficient staff. They aim to please. The lunch served during our meeting was excellent! Steak cooked to perfection.

All and all, it was a good stay thanks to the front desk lady named May. She was great and very helpful. There was also another nice lady that was our server at O'Brian's for breakfast, and she was also really good. She was very nice towards us and was even making small take about where we were from and asking how our stay was going so far. The food and service was awesome. I gave her a tip for that day and the next day for the great job she was doing. (I forgot her name but she mentioned that she graduated in 1981.) Both ladies were very kind, thoughtful and caring towards us. Chase the bartender, on the other hand, was being rude on Halloween night towards me. He was doing his job, but I feel like he targeted me, He wouldn't serve me after my 2nd drink. He said "I'll see how you are after this 2nd one". I felt like my money was no good there. I finished my drink and left back to my room. He apologized a few days later after he over heard me complaining to my friend about the service I got from him. I would go back there but now it doesn't feel like the same happy place for wings and bulldogs. After ten years of supporting this establishment with my business, this is my only minor complaint. I hope I don't get awkward stares from him on wing night. Oh yeah, our fridge in our room didn't work so all our food went bad (room 103) and the bed closest to the washroom was slanted. Black widow drink special was awesome that I'm pretty sure we bought them out all weekend of there supplies to make that drink.

Beds are a little tough, but sleepable for sure. I am rooming with a coworker and I had 3 pillows on my bed he had 2 we got to the room after end of our day and realized they put the 3rd pillow on his bed so I have no idea if our faces were using the same pillows over the times he had 3 pillows and I had 2..... I feel like with covid it makes it a little uncertain if they through all pillows on the floor and then just grab them and put them on the beds all willy-nilly!

Great hotel with friendly, knowledgeable staff always a pleasure to stay here

I was evicted because I had a guest in the room that was not registered at the front desk. I have checked into rooms that did not have coffee cups. Did not have a back up roll of toilet paper. Did not have a back up box of tissues. That is my opinion.
