The info desk gave me a wrong info which made me to visit this place again. The teller gave me a wrong info again and I promptly left the bank since I am afraid of they make another mistakes. Bad info desk, inexperience teller and incompetent manager who is in charge of these employees. It is crucial for bank to give a trustworthy info to customers. If that is not executed right, that bank is worthless. Our community doesn't need this type of bank. Don't deal with this bank.
I've been a member of this branch for almost 10 months now. I love it. Almost never have I had an issue. It's been the same lovely ladies working there almost this whole time. Staff is always super friendly and smiling.
Their service is superb. It feels like I just went back to country. Service was good.

The bank is good for wire transfers to S.Korea because they convert CAD to KRW on the spot, whereas all national banks can only transfer CAD or USD to an account in Korea and then the currency exchange happens there.
Since this bank is relatively new in Canada the processing time for transfers between the bank and other financial institutions is longer than that of the big banks, hope this will improve over time.
I am Caucasian and these people had the nerve to ask me why I wanted to do business with them! I said why would you ask me that , your a bank that's why! And the lady said but your not Korean ! I have never been so insulted in my life racist bank do not do business with Shinhan horrible people not to mention the entire staff was just staring at me from the second I walked in so ignorant I felt like saying why are you in BC your not Caucasian jerks
