I’ve been going to this gas station for as long as I can remember, even worked there with the old management. I find it very disheartening during a pandemic this employee feels above mandatory masks indoors. I believe his name is Peter? Or so that’s what he told my boyfriend over the phone one morning when he had a very unpleasant interaction with him. My boyfriend has stopped going in the mornings before work due to the same fellow being extremely rude to customers prior to the mask rule and simplify refusing to wear a mask. Today I went to get a late night snack, and he leaves from behind the safety glass to use the washroom with no proper PPE for mandatory masks indoors. I mentioned this to the other worker who was just about to get off his shift and recommended I speak with a manager and explain to me when her shifts are. That fellow I must say has always been super nice and polite and I feel bad giving a one star when I have had very pleasant interactions with him but for the guy who feels above wearing masks indoors when our numbers are rising out of control, this star is for you.

Worst experience of my life! First time I’ve experienced racism at the gas station by the person working there! Had a problem with the car wash, it didn’t clean my car at all, I went through a second time and when it still didn’t clean the car I asked for a refund. I was denied a refund and the woman called me a ‘white liar’ and told me to hand wash the car myself. Filthy treatment of a paying customer, a 1 star rating is too high for this place and Shell Canada should address the complete lack of respect and customer service. I left there feeing humiliated and furious and will never go there ever again.

Pulled in to buy gas on my way home from work just after midnight. Price at the pump was 15c/L higher than the advertised price on their signboard. Went to go to the window to ask the attendant if he could adjust it. He pretended I wasn't there, but would obviously occasionally glance to see if I was still waiting for him.

The worst customer service I've ever seen. Woman at the counter doesn't treat 10 cents as actual money and refused to sell me a lottery ticket because "she has already taken change from another person". No greeting as I came to her (I did), just dry "ID?", no words as I left. Don't come in, pay at the pump, at least the machine will be polite.

I would not recommend getting the "Ultimate" wash special unless you want a $21 car wash. Washed my car there yesterday, drove home and the car was filthy (under a shine of course). Drove right back to have it re-washed. "Too bad. You left the lot. You should have inspected the car before you left." Be sure you check your car before leaving the lot, and even then it is doubtful whether you will get any compensation (like maybe a second time through). There will be another "catch".
