TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Their bankers are young but very friendly! Other staff are also very helpful. I was there doing my mortgage applications, and got a good deal 😀

I went to this beanch to open a simple savings Acc and We have asked the agent if they would run a credit check and he confirmed that no credit check will be done. Today upon checking my score I see the credit check for no reason. I am really disappointed.

Don’t come to this branch unless you are Chinese AND with money. This branch has new management and TD changed it’s management style to move people to different positions within three to five years. Some people get “ promoted” to other branches or stay if a position is available at the branch and many quit ( can’t stand the quota pressure). You most likely will see new people each time you visit if you only visit like once a year. Older folks that still are on the old contract and allowed to stay are the only ones I am Only confident to deal with ( been working at this branch for 15- 20+ years and soon to retire within 5-10 years )that stuck around after the big blue blood change after the manager retired that held up this branch for over 25 years that provided good service and know what they are doing. Newbies, well expect errors and you are their experiment!!! First try to open a TFSA account an year ago despite being Chinese and spoke fluent English and Cantonese, after a younger male in a room looked at my account seeing I had no money, he rejected to open an account for me as he was only interested serving clients with money being short sighted to see that people can have money in other bank accounts can transfer to this bank if better service better offer, and also realize people can have or don’t have money today doesn't mean they don’t have money tommorrow and the old basic customer service rule that one bad experience shared to ten people. However recently bringing in cash to open a TFSA, With someone newer, and introduced by one of the older folks, I got friendly smiles but took almost an hour while being careful to read fine print. Yes I was the guinea pig for this newbie for their highly promoted TFSA promo that newbies lacked training to support the promotion. So must add besides being Chinese and have money make sure you also have time and patience and a open mind to be an experiment! This branch is under construction, can be annoying. But generally clean, with free parking, good location and VIP service for Chinese with money. You don’t get the shocking look from other banks (coast capital) when you deposit just $1000 cash coz they are experienced seeing lots of cash from Chinese customers. Coast capital had questions and the newbie teller seeked the supervisor when you deposit $1000 cash but the newbie here sees it as spare change and that means less tine to wait around while being more efficient. If you don’t have cash don’t bother to walk in this branch coz this is the prestige branch like walking in Louis Vuitton store. You won’t walk in LV without cash unless you are missing some common sense. Of course you can, but don’t expect extravagant service while others here have money to be served. Yes not fair but this is life. Btw the service quality really fluctuated depending who you get and what you compare it to. I still like to deal with the older folks here that still give good service in general having money or not.

Tons of people waiting in lineand tons of fp wandering. There are about 10 people waiting for the service，but there are only 4 branchs opening. Hate to spend so muc time waiting in line.
