During the covid-19 went there for opening a business account I had a great experience the staff there are friendly and helpful.

I had a BMO chequing account eligible for no banking fees through benefits at work but I still maintain a fair amount of funds in this bank and some USD. I went to withdraw some of my US funds at this location only ONCE through the teller. The teller secretly changed my account to a performance plan without my consent. He thought just because I mentioned that this account wasn't my main account that I wasn't monitoring this account actively. Yes, I can afford the fees, but that was a very slimy move that just cost them my business!

Horrible experience !!! I'd give it 0 start if allows. I suggest anyone to avoid going to this branch. I called the branch manager and booked a meeting with their client rep in order to set up business account. I asked specially for an "experienced" business account rep and been told no problem. Went in for the meeting, spend 2hrs with someone himself admitted he's totally new to setting up business account. Anyway, I tried to be patient and worked along with him and asked to open one candadian dollor account, one US account. Picked the eTras account so there's no monthly fee per this rep. And I've told him that I need to access the accounts online. At the end of the 2hrs, he handed me a stack of paper, said all accounts were set. Because it took me doubled of my planned meeting time (2hrs instead of 1hr), I rushed out of the branch. At the end of the day, after I returned home, I looked up the paper he gave me and guess what? I couldn't find my US account information that I need. My business partner was waiting for that information in order to wire me money. So I went online, trying to log in to check the account info only found out that I did not have web access at all! The rep who set up my account didn't even set up my online access!! I had to call the next day as BMO business phone support only opens till 5pm west coast time. After I phoned and finally got access online, logged on, only found out that there's no US account under my profile. The BMO business line customer service agent said my US account has not been linked and they would need to reach out to the Branch where I had the account openned. And they ensured that the Branch would get back to me. No response after another 2 days. I phone the BMO business line again, they confirmed that they've contaced the Branch. So I had to phone the branch, reached out to their manager, who then connected my US account to my profile. After a month, I found there's a us$6 monthly charge to my US account, which has never been told when I set up the account at the Brentwood branch, nor had any paper work showing that fee. Now I have to call the branch again to understand why. And of course I only reached the voice mail. I'm done with BMO, especially this Brentwood mall branch. The manager could not fulfill my request, wasting 2 full hours of mine to get me someone who didn't even know how to set up business account despite that I've emphasised that I need an experienced assistance. No account information being provided after I oppened account (until this moment I'm writing this review, I have not recieved any account documentation for my US account); no web access provided to account and the account was not properly linked to my profile. And, there is monthly account fee being charged although I was told that the accounts I openned were no monthly fee. It's a total nightmare dealing with BMO.
