I was very disappointed with the customer experience manager, Roya Mardan, at the TD Brentwood branch today. First of all, as far as I remember, her mouth and nose were not completely covered by a face covering or mask when talking to me face to face. Plus, I was shocked by her poor customer service skills, and that's not what I am expecting from one of Canada's biggest banks. I tried to deposit cash through ATM, and it ate my money and debit card. I had to get in line and wait for about an hour to get their help. I told her that I need to get them back (money and my card) today as I need to use them for something important. She asked how much money I tried to deposit, so I told her it was about xxx dollars as I couldn't remember the exact amount. But I knew the number that I gave to her was roughly close to the actual amount. At first, she didn't even want to bother figuring out a way to help me, saying it was not their fault but the machine (Isn't the machine part of TD?). And she started repeating, "Why didn't you count the money?" At first, I didn't get upset at all when she asked me that. However, she kept asking me the same question, and it started sounding like accusing me of telling a lie. Not to mention, she didn't even say, "Sorry for any inconvenience (I had to wait for about an hour because their AMT didn't work properly)," she instead said, "I am not going to say 'sorry' to you because it's the machine that has caused the problem." I asked her whether she is working for TD, and she said Yes. So, I asked her again if it is one of their services or not. She kept saying it's the machine. I got finally upset and asked her to give me her business card. She said, "of course, you can have it." with attitude. I didn't need "her sorry." However, I don't think I deserve to deal with a bank manager who comes at her customer with attitude. I was simply asking them to give me my money that their machine ate back. I felt like I was dealing with a rude 10-year-old classmate back in school. I was not expecting to have that type of conversation with a manager at one of the biggest Canadian banks. Also, she forgot to explain how "Credit-Memo" works, so I was perplexed to see -xxx dollars on my banking account. I had to head back to the bank to meet her again. I wasted about 2 hours of my life for that today, and she thought it was ok never saying "Sorry" to me. Plus, she did not cover her face entirely when explaining how" Credit-Memo" works as far as I remember. She was standing right next to me. I'm tempted to close my accounts at TD. Can't TD do better than that? I have read google reviews on the Brentwood branch and noticed that I am not the only one who has experienced this "unbelievable" customer service.

Doug the Customer service manager is rude, unprofessional and full of himself. "I call the shots" as he told me. No you don't, that's why there's a BRANCH Manger. Your in the wrong field of work. Enjoy your little made up title. Explains the 3.9 stars. If your reading this, on the same day my bank draft was deposited and reissued the amount I wanted onto another bank draft at another location. BTW a certified bank draft is not the same as a personal check.......You need training on people skills.

Jamie Lee is very polite and friendly. Solved my issue in a matter of minutes. Bruh if you're seeing this, mad respect to you. 🤴

They have waive first hour for senior to banking .waiting for 45 mins.approx. for bank..inconvence..

This is one of the worst run branches I've ever witnessed. Once a year I go in to remind me why I opened another account.
