BMO Bank of Montreal

I would not recommend anyone going to this bank, over and over again my family and i keep on having the worst experience.

I opened an account today. extremely freindly and helpful staff,fast and courteous. The only problem was I mentioned i needed to pay bills with my card, so I calld shaw waited 15 minutes then found out my card was not activated disappointed I called the branch now waiting for call back ugh, this time of year lots of work fishing, bucking wood etc to get ready for winter next time please inform your new clients to activate there debit card so they can enjoy our beautiful outdoors instead of sitting waiting for CALL BACK. p.s. No cell services up the valley

Always very friendly and helpful. Every time I need to discuss something or need help they will always go out of their way to help me as efficiently as possible.

More of a comment then a review. Wondering when banks will go back to regular hours since covid? Everyone else has gone back. Not sure how a person who works is supposed to do any banking 10-4pm Monday to Friday?

Unfriendly rude staff, demanding me to pay a fee for cashing a cheque which is fine. But you could ask politely ask like a normal person, took about 15 to mins to cash this cheque causing me to miss my bus by what looked like on purpose. Theres a reason i dont bank with you nor does anyone else in my household. And we wont be switching. Thanks for making such an experience that i had to write a review about it. I give 2 stars because you did still cash my cheque. But i will only be returning if i have to like todays case. Im new to squamish. Ill be going to cibc.
