The consultant I dealt with was excellent. Very helpful, professional and efficient.nnHowever getting past the Manager who was playing customer greeter was an absolute nightmare! Zero customer service or people skills and was void of any actual listening abilities. Hence the 2 stars.nnI recommend going to another branch or doing what you need online wherever possible.

I would give them 0 stars if this was an option. Went in to set up an account today, was told to come back at 10:30 which was fine. Came back at 10:30 was told no appointment had been organized so they couldn’t help me so I could come back at 11:30 or go elsewhere. I had my 2 year old with me, made a trip specifically to organize a bank account for her and had already kept her busy for an hour so waiting another hour was not an option. I was then told to try toombul or Virginia if it was an issue. It was a really underwhelming experience and showed that the staff member clearly wasn’t a parent and couldn’t care less about us. She had so much attitude and was completely unhelpful. The fact that the first team member didn’t actually set up the appointment was just not good enough.

Long lines all the times. banker gives unsolicited advice to customers, not helpful at all. On top ANZ keep closing branches to reduce its cost and hiring unskilled bankers. Well done.

Worst branch and this branch is too slow in functioning. I went to cash a company cheque today and had to wait 20 min to be called by the teller even though there were only 1 other person waiting before me. When I was finally called and waiting to cash the cheque, then another story started. The teller first had issues with the initials on the cheque and went to 3 different people in different directions to confirm if the signature and initials matched for the company cheque to be cashed. I was patient till then. Then she asked me for a photo id to which I gave my driver licence. After that I wasn't sure what she was doing on the system and checking my DL and my details on her system again and again as if she wasn't confident and unsure of what she was doing.It was a weird experience for me. A teller should be proactive and provide the customer a rewarding experience, which i didn't get. She asked me many irrelevant questions which had nothing whatsoever to do with me cashing the cheque. Finally when I got the cash, I had spent close to an hour in the branch. If this is the case that you spend 1 hour per customer, what will happen if there are say 20 customers waiting. This branch cannot handle customers and any sort of pressure.nnOverall not a good experience at all. This is not the way a top tier bank functions.
