Great customer services, Thank you Najeeb

I contacted our business banker, Ali, on Mon 20/01/2020, with an urgent request to increase a personal loan back to an original limit. He advised that we needed to apply through a branch and gave me contact information. I called the consumer branch banker on Tuesday and booked a meeting to complete application on Wednesday 22/01/2020. The consumer branch banker was very friendly/helpful. On Thursday the consumer banker indicated she'd been told that our business banker, Ali, had to do the application. Ali's manager rang and said they would get a senior person to help Ali to do the application urgently and hoped to get me an answer on Friday. I explained that we'd had a lot of issues with the national, weren't happy and had considered moving banks. The manager said if I wasn't happy I should change banks. Bear in mind we've been banking with the nab since I was a child for personal and business banking and my broader family. The consumer banker had said all of the information we have put together in the consumer application. On Friday Ali sent me an application and said if I completed it and sent it back to him we would get back to me within one week or if I completed it online they would approve online that day. (As I operate a trust they never approve online applications on that day.). We needed finance approval by the Friday. At that stage, we couldn't go to another bank who would have organised it within two days. So we self funded the event. the Nab runs promotions in the market saying how they want to help small businesses but in my experience that is simply not the case. All I want is a banker that is competent and customer service orientated.

Thank you Carrie & the team for helping us set up our new account and travel card. Although we were running short of time they made us feel very welcome and they went the extra mile to get us set up.

The lady that helped us open accounts was nice. Unfortunately, there were delays due to system malfunction so we had to wait around for hours. In the meantime her colleague was very unaccommodating, poor customer service skills.nFollowing that, we received a letter from ATO saying the tax information was provided incorrectly. Bit hard to enter the wrong info considering we provided the original copy with details for the bank personnel to enter directly onto their computers. Now it is a huge hassle to correct it whilst overseas. Nil compensation or apology was offered by NAB customer service staff.
